Blessed

It's 10pm and I'm already at home doing work at the dining table. Strange! Because usually I'll be making my way to the bus stop opposite CLB. My parents are watching news on the TV and my Dad just made a remark "This person's pattern very similar to ah chyi." Naturally, I looked over to find out who that amazing person is and guess what.......AMOS YEE. LOL. WHAT THE. 

Dad: "Really what. So lax. Come out of court still eat banana in front of camera somemore"

So..that's my pattern la? Thanks Dad, thanks. Hahaha. 

Anyway, I just got my mum to help me sew back the button that dropped off my pants.. Lately the pants were getting tighter and one day, they just burst open while I was studying at CLB. Wlao, had to hide my waist with cardigan. So loser. 

It's one week to finals but I've been feeling too blessed to be stressed haha. Managed to have a rare bonding time with my two sisters a few nights ago over flower crabs, omelette and shells, and my elder sister was sharing with us about her problematic friends and work. It felt really good to interact with them because it's hard to find a common time to get together when our lives are so divergent. I suspect my younger sister is getting attached soon muahaha. My parents had been very kind to me as well. One night when I got home around 11+pm, Dad shoved me a glass of liang teh and insisted that I finished drinking it before sleeping. Mum was also nagging at me to sleep earlier to get more rest. I am away from home so much, but they're always here for me. Family is truly the only dependable people who love unconditionally and unequivocally. My parents, they really aren't the loving and expressive type. But I know whatever they do, they always consider us in their decision-making and they always have the best interests for us children :') 

And lately, I have been catching up with various old friends :-)

Had birthday dinner with Meisee :D It's really amazing to have reunited with her in Uni. Have I said this too often? Haha. She's so supportive of my interests and encouraged me to take photography to the next level. My OG is super impressed with my paparazzi stalking skills LOL because I always capture the "right" moments. Karthik says he's gonna hire me to be his PR manager next time LOL. She was telling me since I can write, draw and capture moments well, why not start a personalised website? Haha. We also talked about our personalities. She said that I'm a peace-loving person and so whenever I am caught up in a conflict, I will have the urge to do something to correct it. But sometimes, I have to let go and leave the "market forces" to correct the imbalances. Haha an apt use of econs theories.

Honestly, there's so much to be grateful for. It's not like I have to purposely make a big deal out of something small. These little things in life jump at my heart at the most random time of the day sometimes. Some people may not be nice to you intentionally but those small gestures like, helping you to clear rubbish from your table quietly, refilling your bottle for you without asking you, shifting to study at the table beside you when you're alone and you secretly want some company, can be so heartwarming. Haha. I feel really blessed to have amazing people around me :-) 

What are finals mannn? All the best to you guys nonetheless :-) I can't wait to travel soon HEHEHE.
